Lots of women love to shop, but 20-year-old fashionista Liv also plans to make a living from it. She's studying Visual Communications at FIDM and plans to launch a career as a personal shopper and stylist. We found her wearing a garment straight from the '90s—a sequined crop top—as part of her glamorous outfit.

What are you wearing today? A sequined crop top from Nordstrom, jeans from Express and Steve Madden heels. All of my jewelry is from , where I've been working part time for the past three months.

When did your love of fashion begin? I've always been an artist. Growing up, I was into princesses, not sports. And I've always enjoyed shopping for other people and had a passion for styling.

What are your favorite stores? My No. 1 favorite is Nordstrom. My dream is to be a personal shopper there. I also love H&M, and The Savvy Shopaholic, which is like my second closet.

How would you describe your personal style? I love the '90s. I wish I could live in that decade. I love the more conservative styles from the '90s, like hats, long buttoned sweaters and crop tops. I also love patterns, layering, skinny jeans with boots, scarves and jackets.

Which celebrities inspire your style? I love Lauren Conrad, Nicole Richie, Rachel Bilson and Leighton Meester. If I'm having an off day and don't know what to wear, I'll look at pictures of them in magazines.

Name a few items you can't live without. Skinny jeans, boots and purses. I have a Betsey Johnson bag that is like my child. It's black with a big bow. And nail polish, I'm obsessed!

What have you learned about fashion since attending FIDM? I've learned how much work goes into the industry. People don't realize it. Everything has to be perfect, and it takes a lot of work. One of my projects was to create a shadow box window display, and it took a lot to make it perfect. The presentation is the most important part of anything you do.

Do you have any fashion advice? It's important to stick to who you are. Embrace your own uniqueness.
