Spirit of Danville Shopping & Dining

Danville's "Spirt of Danville" event features participating merchants offering special treats and discounts on Friday, Dec. 3, from 5 - 9 p.m.and Saturday, Dec. 4, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Over 50 merchants and restaurants will be open late offering free wine tastings, hot cider, cookies, and other goodies along with store and dining discounts.

The Town of Danville Parks and Recreation Department is having the Kids' Night & Day Out on Friday from 6 - 10 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. While the grown ups are shopping, children will be getting into the holiday spirit with experienced, trained staff. Each child will make a gift, complete with gift bag and card, enjoy a light snack, and watch a movie. Children must be fully potty-trained to attend; no pull-ups. Pre-registration required by calling the Danville Community Center at 925-314-3400. If the program is full, please add your child to the wait list in case additional participants can be accommodated. Fee is $20 for residents, $24 for non-residents.
