Playwright's Theatre, in its 16th season, presents staged readings of two plays in which O'Neill materializes ghosts onstage who are co-conspirators in murder and a plan to retrieve buried treasure from a tropical island.   Both performances star celebrated Bay Area Actor, Ken Ruta.

May 1: "Where the Cross is Made," directed by Josy Miller (Artistic Director, Hapgood Theatre) and "Three Playground Scenes," inspired by O'Neill, directed by Joel Roster and Ken Sonkin

May 22: "Gold," directed by Daren A.C. Carollo (Artistic Director, Diablo Theatre Company)

One of the featured playwrights on May 1, Garret Jon Groenveld, was the recipient of the Bill Koselick award, which honors a graduating senior in the performing arts at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek.
