Water Features Open for Labor Day Weekend
Sycamore Valley Park will be open for the holiday weekend.
Families will have the opportunity to enjoy the water features at Sycamore Valley Park this holiday weekend, as work on the pipes at the facility has been put on hold and the water restored.
Maintenance Services Director Jed Johnson said the work is not complete, but rather than keep the popular amenity closed over the Labor Day weekend, it will be reopened through the weekend.
Work to locate and repair a broken pipe will resume Tuesday September 3, 2013. At that time, the features and the restrooms to the lower park will be closed. Portable restroom facilities will be in place during the closure.
