SRV Fire Hosting Candelight Vigil to Celebrate Life on Sunday

The event is an opportunity for the community to come together and acknowledge their grief, while remembering those that are no longer with us.

From the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District

Getting into the holiday spirit can be very difficult for those who have lost someone they love. The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Chaplains know many people will experience the grief of loss this holiday season.

Please join us for a candlelight vigil on Sunday beginning at 7 p.m. on the lawn in front of the Danville Library located at 400 Front Street in downtown Danville.

This event is a special opportunity for the community to come together and acknowledge their grief, while remembering those that are no longer with us.

"Our candlelight vigil aims to support families and help them get through the holidays," said Nick Vleisides, San Ramon Valley Fire Chaplain. "We are here for the community to support them and help them remember their loved ones."

Participants will light candles in memory of family and friends who have passed. Speakers will share inspiring stories and offer words of encouragement. The San Ramon Valley Fire Chaplains encourage anyone who has experienced a loss to join in this celebration of life.
