Multiple power outages in Danville and San Ramon Friday afternoon left about 8,000 customers without electricity, according to PG&E.
An outage in the Balckhawk-Camino Tassajara area started at 3:05 p.m. and was affected 7,739 customer.
PG&E reported there were three outages around San Ramon that affected about 228 customers.
Power was restored to most customers by Saturday morning.
Friday was one of the hottest days of the year, with temperatures surpassing 100 degrees in the area.
The causes of the power outages is being investigated.
