Join the Corral Family to Remember 'Chachi' on Sunday

Sunday marks the one-year anniversary of the death Lcpl. Joshua "Chachi" Corral. The Corral family welcomes the community to remember Joshua at the Veterans Building on Sunday

From Denise Corral

It's hard to believe that Sunday marks the one year anniversary of losing our son is Afghanistan.

As hard as we try, we will never forget the day that two Marines came to our door to deliver that unimaginable news.

Our son was gone.

Nineteen-year0old Lcpl. Joshua "Chachi" Corral was killed in Afghanistan serving our country as a United States Marine. The last year for us has been very bittersweet. We miss our son more than words can say, but we are so thankful for all of the support that we have been shown by our friends, family and our wonderful community.

Please join us Sunday at 4:30 p.m. outside of the Danville Veterans Building, in front of Chachi's "Fallen Hero" memorial statue for a time of remembrance, prayer, singing by Grace Leer and fellowship.

After the gathering we will head to Primos Pizza for dinner. Primo's is donating 15 percent of the proceeds from the night to those who mention Semper Fi Foundation on their dine in or take-out order. We hope that you can join us.

Godspeed,
The Corral Family
