Friends of the Danville Library pre-holiday program features:

• Michael Barnard, owner of Danville's Rakestraw Books, brings an impressive collection of this year's and topical books for a holiday presentation. This display is succinctly reviewed as he recommends a lively cross section of reading and gift giving selections.

• Glenn Staller, classical guitar soloist and instructor for the Town of Danville's Recreation Services, will herald the holiday season by performing works by Scarlatti, Albeniz, Piazzolla, Villa-Lobos and select seasonal pieces.
