Bring canned/non-perishable food to Forward Motion Sports between now and the end of the month for a chance to win a free bib to the 1st Half Marathon, which starts on the Embarcadero near the Ferry Building, runs through Fisherman’s Wharf, the Marina, across the roadbed of the Golden Gate Bridge, through the Presidio and finishes in Golden Gate Park. Race date is July 27.
Each donor will receive a raffle ticket. You may drop off food as many times as you like and there is no limit to the number of raffle tickets you can earn.
There are two bins, one for the Alameda County Community Food Bank and one for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano.
