Discover Danville Association invites Danville businesses to participate in this year’s Danville Thursday Night Street Festivals, Thursday, July 10 and August 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. At these street closure events in downtown Danville, vendors will receive a 10-ft. by 10-ft. booth space to display your business to over 1,500 attendees.
Voted 2013 Danville Express Readers' Choice for Best Street Festival, these family-friendly, free community events are fun for all! Hartz and Prospect Avenues are transformed into a festive, fun-filled environment lined with booths featuring local merchants, services and community organizations. Each evening will be filled with marketing opportunities for local business, services and community organizations.
July's festival will feature pirate-filled fun with Captain Jack Spareribs (voted best family fun in the SF BayArea) and August will reflect the 'Wild West' fun with ponies. Both festivals will have a treasure hunt, local entertainment and dunk tank. For the kids, a wide variety of activities will be offered including a bounce-house, face-painting, balloons and the Museum of the San Ramon Valley train.
