Member volunteers at Assistance League®  Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette, will transport you to an island paradise with the Men’s Aloha Shirts and “Hawaiiana” event scheduled to begin on Po ‘a lua,  May 6.  And get this—NO BAGGAGE FEES!  When the doors open at 10:00 AM sharp, you will be greeted by a sea of shirts in all sizes, in such colors as orchid, green, azure, and lilac, as well as textures and fabrics that depict island scenes of flora and fauna.  These great finds will help you recreate your own island retreat on your lanai while roasting a succulent pua ‘a on the barbee.  You will find the prices so user friendly that you might want to buy several shirts, some for just wearing around the “hale’ ” and some for entertaining.

Speaking of entertaining, table linens, mugs, and platters will make for a lovely presentation.  Wall art, decorator pillows, even miniature hand soaps, will all contribute to an ambience of island tranquility.  As a seasoned shopper, you will also discover handbags, casual and fashion jewelry, beach towels, glass marine art-- even an ukeleli (case included).
