Young @ Art in Danville

The new series Young @ Art for children, ages 5 to 11, promises to be a fun and educational way to introduce children to gallery exhibitions while stimulating their creativity.  View the new exhibition Colorscapes in the Village Theatre Art Gallery, Thursday, May 17 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and create your own colorful landscape inspired by surrounding Mt. Diablo scenery. 

Children will observe the colorful abstract interpretations of landscape paintings in the gallery first and then create their own masterpiece for home. All materials included. My Junior at SRVHS is in the guinea pig class for the new curriculum. The new curriculum started with AP Biology this year and it has been a disappointment. Parents, including myself, really need to educate ourselves on this. I thought this was a State program not a Fed program. Great...
