Summer Camp and Activity Fair- April 21st

 
The East Bay Camp Fair will bring together under one roof representatives of as many as 30 area summer camps.

The camp fair is Saturday, April 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Lafayette United Methodist Church, 955 Moraga Road in Lafayette (parking behind church).

Camps featuring various sports, music, nature, art, horses, canoeing, fishing, academics, therapeutic, computers, digital design, photography, leadership training and more. Families with children from preschool through Grade 12 can ask questions, pick up pamphlets and do comparison shopping.


The one-day event will be sponsored by Chapter OE, Concord, of PEO International. PEO International is a philanthropic, educational organization in which the advancement of women is promoted through education with PEO scholarships, grants and loans. Proceeds from the Fair will help establish a scholarship fund for women at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill. Learn more about PEO at www.peointernational.org. My Junior at SRVHS is in the guinea pig class for the new curriculum. The new curriculum started with AP Biology this year and it has been a disappointment. Parents, including myself, really need to educate ourselves on this. I thought this was a State program not a Fed program. Great...
