Danville Library Goes After-Hours for the Tweens

WHAT: Meet other tweens and break into summer fun! Tweens, grades 4-8, takeover the Danville Library after-hours on Friday, June 15, from 7-9pm, for an evening filled with live music, exciting scavenger hunt, interactive gaming, delicious treats, fun prizes and informative speakers to engage, empower, and educate tweens.

With increasing competition for their time and attention, tweens are consistently one of the most difficult segments of the population to reach at a point in their lives when they’re developing identity and independence. For the first time, the Danville Library is opening its doors afterhours exclusively for tweens. This unique and fun event is designed to engage and empower Tween students to meet and interact with their peers, increase their knowledge of local resources, and enhance social skills to boost personal and academic success throughout the summer.

WHEN: After-hours at the Danville Library: Friday, June 15, 7-9pm

WHERE: Danville Library, 400 Front Street, Danville, CA
From I-680 (north and south), take the Diablo Road exit. Follow Diablo Road 2-3 blocks to Front Street and take a left on to Front Street. The Danville Library will be on your left-hand side. A public parking lot is adjacent to the library just past the Danville Library and Community Center.
