Artist Talk with a New York City Painter

Join the Town of Danville for an Artist Talk with New York Painter Brian Rutenberg in the Village Theatre Art Gallery, Saturday, May 5, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This will be an engaging and rare opportunity to meet this world-renowned New York City artist as he shares his inspiration and his journey as a full-time working fine artist.

Rutenberg graduated from the College of Charleston, before moving to New York City where he earned a Master of Fine Arts degree at the School of Visual Arts. His abstract oil paintings have always reflected his love of the low country, which he freely acknowledges. Rutenberg’s work has been featured in solo exhibitions in prestigious galleries and museums throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.

This is a free event. Pre-registration is required. To register, visit www.danvillerecguide.com and search for barcode 26957 or call (925) 314-3400.
