Come to the fourth annual Las Positas Student Film Festival and enjoy films from up-and-coming filmmakers from around the Bay Area. Support these young filmmakers by attending the festival being held on the LPC campus at the Mertes Center for the Arts Theater. The festival screens Saturday 2/25/12 at 8PM. More About Las Positas College
This community college with 9,000 students offers associate degrees and certificate programs in health sciences, as well as credits transferable to the University of California (UC) and other four-year colleges. There are guaranteed transfer agreements with several schools and a concurrent-enrollment agreement with UC Berkeley. Started nearly 50 years ago to serve what was then a completely rural area, Las Positas became a fully accredited school in the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District in 1991. Both day and evening classes are offered.
