Patch Picks: Easter Brunch

Easter Sunday is April 24 and there is still time to make reservations for a memorable family brunch locally.

 

Easter is quickly approaching. Don't be caught without a reservation to one of our picks to have a sumptuous Easter brunch.

The place: Faz

Classic Easter buffett brunch, featuring honey glazed Easter ham with balsamic sauce and garlic and herb marinated tri-tip at the carving station. There will also be a seafood station with shrimp, calamari, smoked salmon and much more.

Cost: Adults $34.95; Seniors $30.95; Children 5-12 years $15.95; Under 4 years are free

 

The place: Piatti Ristorante

100 Sycamore Valley Road West, Danville (in the Livery Shopping Center)

Piatti will offer their normal top shelf Italian brunch menu with some minor adjustments. The salads are particularly amazing and not to be missed. If you are a breakfast food fan, their brunch specialties will knock your socks off —especially the bourbon vanilla French toast.

The place: Esin

Esin will be serving a three course Easter brunch that will feature choices like asparagus soup with crème fraiche, poached egg with crab cake and grilled New York steak and cheddar chive scrambled eggs with potato hash.

Cost: $38 for adults; $14 for children, 12 or younger

 

The place: The Bridges Golf Course

A traditional Easter buffet brunch, packed with choices will be offered, including mixed tomato with bacon, goat cheese and basil salad, poached eggs benedict with tomato garlic hollandaise, oysters on the half shell, and orange and maple glazed ham with an apple chutney.

Cost: $37.95 for adults; $19.95 children, aged 6-12 years; 5 years and under are free. Preferred pricing after 1 p.m., $29.95 for adults; $15.95 for children, aged 6-12 years.

 

The place: The Peasant and the Pear

Enjoy the Peasant and the Pear’s normal brunch menu featuring choices to satisfy the family brunch purist, including quiche, omlettes, crepes and fritters made to high standards with the freshest of ingredients. For those who like a little kick with their brunch, add a morning martini.
