UPDATE: Power Restored to More Than 1,000 PG&E Customers Thursday Night

A downed wire knocked the power out for 1,435 Danville residents Thursday night.

Power was restored to more than 1,000 PG&E customers in Danville tonight after a downed wire left customers in the dark, a utility spokeswoman said.

The outage, which impacted 1,435 customers, was reported at 7:58 p.m. and was fully restored as of 9:11 p.m., spokeswoman Jana Morris said.

The outage was caused by a downed wire, Morris said, and crews were investigating what caused the line to come down.
