Monte Vista High Grad Shot and Killed in San Francisco

A 66-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the shooting and has been charged with murder, according to reports.

A 2007 Monte Vista High graduate was shot and killed at a San Francisco apartment early Saturday morning, the San Francisco Examiner reports.

Geoffrey Greer, 24, was involved in a dispute before he was shot by 66-year-old Robert E. Graves on the 1100 block of Pacific Avenue at about 2:30 a.m, according to police.

Graves has been charged with murder, among other counts, in connection to the killing. Graves is currently being held at San Francisco General Hospital. Police have not released why he is being held there, but say he was not injured in the incident.

Police have also not provided details on why Greer and Graves were in a dispute.

After graduating from Monte Vista, Greer graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and was currently working as a media agency professional for MEC in San Francisco, according to his LinkedIn page.
