Design Review Board Looking at 4 Projects; Town Council to Discuss Annual Planning
The Design Review Board and the Town Council are holding two special meetings this week.
Public meetings aren't, usually, the most exciting ways to spend a few hours, but they can be quite important.
So, if you have a few hours to kill on Thursday evening and Friday morning, you have an opportunity to see how the sausage is made, as they say.
The Design Review Board is holding a special meeting on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at 510 La Gonda Way to review four projects.
- GERALD AND LILI HSU (Owner) and WILLIAM WOOD ARCHITECTS (Applicant) DEV11-0082: Development Plan request to allow the construction of a 1,996 +/- square foot second dwelling unit on a 6.5 +/- acre parcel on a site which is located within a Town-identified Scenic Hillside area. The site is located at 1651 Peters Ranch Road (Project Planner: David Crompton).
- JIM CASALE (Owner/Applicant) DEV12-0002: Revised Final Development Plan to modify the previously approved site plan for a seven lot subdivision. Revisions would result in moving one unit from the lower pod of three homes to the upper pod resulting in five units on the upper level. A new architectural plan is proposed for the relocated unit. The site is located at the northeast corner of Camino Tassajara and Tassajara Lane (Project Planner: David Crompton).
- BYER PROPERTIES (Owner) and DAVID ESAJIAN (Applicant) SR12-0003: Sign Review request by Pet Food Express to amend the Master Sign Program for the Danville Retail Center. The proposed amendment includes requests for: sign color changes, a new corporate logo, new wall signs and new awnings at the tenant space located at 11000 Crow Canyon Road, Suite F, which was previously occupied by Blockbuster (Project Planner: Adam Foster).
- JKDSQ, LLC c/o GRUBB AND ELLIS CO. (Owner) and ADVERTISING CONCEPTS, INC. dba ADCON SIGNS (Applicant) SR12-0002: Sign Review request to allow one externally illuminated wall sign for Chipotle Mexican Grill, located at 33 Railroad Avenue, within the Danville Square Shopping Center. The proposed sign would require an exception from the approved Master Sign Program for the center (Project Planner: Turhan Sonmez).
