On Monday, Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger's wife Lori, announced at the East Bay Women's conference in San Ramon, that her husband was retiring as a commercial pilot from U.S. Airways.
Today, CBS 5 reports more.
The Danville resident was honored at the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Awards dinner on February 18th for his heroism landing U.S. Airways flight 1549 on January 15, 2009 on the Hudson River.
