Former SRV QB Zach Kline Gets Mention in ESPN Blog
Former San Ramon Valley High School Quarterback Zach Kline, who committed to Cal back in 2010, gets a mention in ESPN's Pac-12 blog as one of two "highly-regarded recruits" that had enrolled in classes at Cal and began attending Tuesday.
"Kline is rated the nation’s No. 3 quarterback by Rivals and was a high school All-American in 2011, participating in the Under Armour All-America Game and also being listed by SuperPrep as an All-American," the blog states.
Kline, as a senior, completed 230-of-341 passes for a school-record 67.4 completion percentage. He also had a school-record-tying 36 touchdowns and passed for 3,630 yards, which was good enough for a fourth ranking in the state of California and 18th nationally.
